Melissa Kelley CPRW began writing resumes in 2006. Her motivation to write resumes began when a relative was laid off from a sales executive position he had held for nearly 25 years and for which he'd received multiple corporate awards. For the first six months of his search, this industry-leading salesperson didn't receive the volume--or quality--of responses to his resume that he should have. When he asked Melissa to look at it from an editing perspective, the reason why was clear: one of his job titles contained a misspelling that, because it would have been a properly spelled word in any other context, Microsoft Word didn't flag as a spelling error. Just a few weeks after Melissa provided a simple copyedit to his resume, her relative had a new job.
Since that beginning, one of Melissa's specialties as a resume writer has been getting results for those who have been unemployed for long periods or who are underemployed, as well as those who are looking to change careers. Whether this describes your situation or whether you're simply looking to advance to the next level in your career, let Melissa work her magic for you!
